סמינר בחלקיקים: Toy Model for 1+1D Discrete Black Hole

Abstract:

We propose and investigate a discrete toy model of spacetime in 1+1 dimensions, utilizing a particle-chain. Our aim is to explore and simulate well-known phenomena in spacetime. This is accomplished by introducing creation and annihilation properties to the particle-chain, which violates the number of degrees of freedom and result in a phase-space of varying size. As a result, we demonstrate self-contained solutions, without external forces, such as black holes and event horizons.
